Martinspeed was established in 1975 to provide specialised art handling services for artists, collectors, dealers, commercial galleries, public museums and galleries world-wide. Martinspeed specialises in the storage, packing, casing, installation, transport, import and export of individual works and whole exhibitions. Martinspeed's facilities include a fleet of climate controlled air-ride fine art vehicles, indemnity approved storage warehouses, case making to all specifications and an airport office, all staffed by fully trained, experienced and knowledgeable people.

Martinspeed carries out all types of fine art packing, including the highest specification museum-standard casing.
We have over 80 fully-trained and experienced staff, including 42 driver/art technicians. In addition, the company has its own dedicated airport office offering special courier facilities with full air-side and tarmac supervision.

Clients for whom we have undertaken major transport and exhibition contracts include the Royal Academy of Arts, the Saatchi Collection, the Tate Gallery, the Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Guggenheim in Bilbao, the Denver Art Museum, the Hermitage in St Petersburg and the Palace of Westminster.

Several of these projects have included a full installation service by our art handlers.
We have recently carried out work for several of our national institutions, as we continue to develop this important area of our business.
