Inspired by the cycle of the seasons, Giusseppe Lund's gate marks the entrance to Westferry Circus. It is a remarkable work, incorporating delicate Mucha-esque flowers flowing from a single stem set against a strong grid.

Lund has been working with metal for 35 years, he has encouraged the creative use of metal in the UK and helped to organise an exhibition of forged ironwork at the Victoria & Albert Museum. He has also advised the Crafts Council on its ironwork education programme.
