eDward is the Young Filmmaker's Award of the eDIT 11. Filmmaker's Festival. eDward is aimed at young creatives under 30 from all over the world, calling on them to take part in the competition with a 30-second film.

This years competition theme is PLANET EARTH.

Deadline for entries is Friday, 22 August 2008. The winners of the three best films will be invited to eDIT 11. Filmmaker’s Festival on 28. â€" 30. September 2008 in Frankfurt

The winning entries will be selected by an international jury and will be announced and awarded at the festival. Aside from the unique eDward Trophy, the awards include monetary prizes of up to EUR 2.500 plus further material prizes.
