DIESEL WALL started back in 2004, and in 2008 this art project will delve into new territories - Manchester (UK), Barcelona (Spain), New York (USA), and Zurich (Switzerland) all are now hosting new Diesel Walls.
The ultimate goal of DIESEL WALL is to create a fusion between the private space of galleries/institutions and the open space of the city. To drive new direction in urban landscapes and recharge them with creativity

From March 31st until May 18th 2008, creatives from around the world can submit their designs online at www.dieselwall.com
After May 18th the UK jury will decide the Manchester winner whose design will cover the wall.
The artists will have total freedom in sending concepts and can be use all artistic media (painting, photography, video, performance, light, sound, text) for a specific wall or for all four walls.;
