The festival has just redeveloped its website in readiness for the call which has two deadlines; early - 15th April and final - 10th June. Filmmakers from all genres will be pleased to hear the categories have widened to include: Animation, Comedy, Docklands, Documentary, Drama and Music Video. The finalised film programme will be announced in July 08.
Olivia Bellas, CWFF Festival Director, says:
"The inaugural festival proved we have a very diverse audience so it’s our plan to have a diverse programme to reflect this. Once again, we’ll be awarding the best in their fields and this time, we’ll have a range of venues across Canary Wharf where films will be screened".
Launched in September 07, the festival ran at the Cineworld, West India Quay where the local creative community was highlighted as well as the area as a key filming location.
CWFF is supported by ROK Motion and the Canary Wharf Group, and works in conjunction with partners The Creative Wharf and The Wharf newspaper.
All CWFF 08 film screenings are free!
