Solitary Natures is an exhibition of paintings and drawings that explore character driven scenarios: domestic and fantastical, real and imaginary. For both Matthew and Paul, the process of making work remains as a privately absorbed activity, and this is reflected in the nature of the imagery and the treatment of this subject matter.
