SEDUCED: ART AND SEX FROM ANTIQUITY TO NOW

Barbican Art Gallery
Barbican Centre
London
Daily 11-8, Tue, Thu 11-6
The most ambitious show of its kind ever staged. Seduced explores 2000 years of art representing sexual union. Drawn from public and private collections from around the world, many of the works have been considered too controversial to show in public until now, and will be exhibited here for the first time. Included in a diverse range of international artists are photographers Felix Jaques-Antoine Moulin, Grundworth, Jean Agelou, Jon Mitton, Monsieur X, Moulin, Nobuyoshi Araki, Pierre Louys, Robert Crawshay, Robert Mapplethorpe and Thomas Ruff.
