The Italian artist approached geometric abstraction with engaging charm. The inconspicuous symbol is a means to explore and understand the ambiguous space (Leinardi) laid out by a geometric composition based on the line and / or cuboid rectangular solid. “With infinite delicacy [Leinardi] recalls a sense of humour which is a profound part of the artist. With much grace and even more nobility, always modest, the straight line makes the zero dance”(Michel Seuphor).
