Looking at the work of a particular network of artists whose activities across art, fashion, film, dance, performance, video and music has inspired and had significant influence on artists today, this show aims to critically re-evaluate Britain’s recent political past while throwing into relief the subversive dimensions of the creative and artistic activities of the time, whose far-reaching implications have been both neglected and underestimated.
