Based in London, BROWN opened temporarily at 207 Whitecross Street on June 2007 with an exhibition of video work by Nathalie Djurberg, followed by a History of Sound Recordings show curated by Justin Lieberman. BROWN opened in a Lower Ground Floor space on Hoxton Square in September 2007 with new works by British sculptor Sam Porritt. This gallery is designed by Samson Adjei / Offmo. BROWN aims to exhibit emerging and mid-career artists from all media including painting, sculpture, video, sound, performance, installation, and photography.

Kimberly Brown was previously the Director at Zach Feuer Gallery (LFL) in New York. She relocated to London in late 2006 to open BROWN. She is a member of NADA – New Art Dealers Alliance (www.newartdealers.org)
