• Julie Umerle was born in the United States, and lives and works in East London. She studied painting at University College Falmouth and Parsons School of Design, New York. She has exhibited extensively, and has received several awards for her work, with funding from Arts Council England and the Gottlieb Foundation. Collectors include Deutsche Bank.
