Mike Marshall’s recent works reveal scenarios and forces that seem to interconnect in ways which cannot always be predicated, and where events are linked to unknown factors that cannot be controlled or precisely defined. For this upcoming show at Union Gallery, Mike Marshall will be showing a combination of video and photographic works which explore an interplay of propellant forces between different scenarios. Striking a precise balance between anticipatory tension and languid relaxation, this recent work reveals situations of beauty and pleasure that interconnect in ways that cannot be entirely predicted and which link to unknown factors that cannot be controlled or precisely defined.
