In this exhibtion of new paintings, Purday continues his exploration of contemporary landscape, using the artist's own holiday photos, domestic and local scenes, found journalistic images, and sequences remebered from dreams.

Purday has long found the dreamlike scapes in films by David Lynch among other directors as direction for his own work. The new paintings use a range of seemingly everyday surreal subjects. Stretching the subject matter in accuracy creating a montage of effects and images in each work.
