Play and invention are often the starting points of my practice. I primarily use memory but also source materials referencing technology, architecture and popular culture. Similar to a game, I construct shapes through drawing and painting creating my own dream spaces and objects. These spaces and objects symbolise personal narratives which are intertwined with the experience of the city, the bombardment of speed and technology.

Louisa lives and works in London. She studied an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2005-2007) and at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design (2002-2005) where she achieved a BA(Hons)Fine Art with first class honours.
