Anka Dabrowska was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1979. Her work is autobiographical. It concerns merging ideas of memory and imagination in relation to her upbringing in Poland. Domestic and urban landscape is a key focus of Anka's new work and has been a re-occurring theme within her practice.
She lives and works in London and studied at University of Northumbria, Newcastle upon Tyne, England - MA with Distinction.
